Honeystreet is a small village of 29 houses, clustered almost entirely along the banks of the Kennet and Avon Canal.

It lies in the Vale of Pewsey, beneath the Marlborough Downs, where the Ridgeway descends from the high chalk down.

There has been a sawmill at Honeystreet since 1810, and it is as busy now as it was back then, when the wharf was used to transport timber along the Kennet and Avon Canal.

Today, Honeystreet Sawmills trades in high quality timber products, for customers in the construction, fencing, decking and landscaping product sectors.

Retail customers are also welcomed, and bespoke timber products can be supplied to suit virtually any need.

They are constantly reviewing and improving their product ranges to align their business with changing market conditions, and to effectively meet their customers’ demands and expectations.

Honeystreet Country Store was established in 2002, as an addition to the sawmills, which, on the same site, had supplied local equestrian and agricultural customers with fencing and timber for generations.

When a local equestrian supplier ceased trading, Honeystreet Sawmills’ customers asked the owner, John Dunford, if he would stock a wider range of equestrian products.

The shop has expanded over the years, and now stocks a huge range of animal and pet feeds, saddlery, country clothing, rugs, etc, catering for the equestrian, shooting, walking and country market, with brand names such as Puffa and Pikeur, and all leading equestrian brands.

Recognising that quality and choice are what customers demand, this thriving business has experienced and well-trained staff to offer help and advice when needed.

In addition to feed and clothing, Honeystreet Country Store also stocks a wide range of tools and accessories needed for those little jobs around the house or stable.

“If we don’t stock it, we can get it for you” seems to be the motto at Honeystreet, where old-fashioned service goes hand in hand with value and quality.
