Tanwood School of performing arts did a show named ‘Where Dreams Come True’. Lots of people took part, including a little baby and adults doing Tap. A man sang most of the songs and his wife did a lot of both singing and dancing! For some children it was their first show and for others it was their 5th or 6th show.
Four shows were organized and we didn’t get home until very late, but luckily I always got out first so it wasn’t too late for me! A lot of tap was put into the show but I was in most dances that had no tap in them.
Presents were given out and I got some flowers from my mum and my friend Amy! When I do the shows I am always in the same or in the dressing room next to my friends. My friends are: Amy P, Jessica E, Emily S, Lucy H, Lauren S and Abbie N.
At first, I felt nervous but this was my sixth show. I was fine and knew what might happen if I went on when not supposed to or if something went wrong. My dance teacher said that we would be OK if we listened to the music and remembered all the steps.
On Saturday afternoon we had to go to dinner before the evening performance; we went to a pub called the Plum Tree, just next to the Wythern Theatre. By Chloe P 10 years old
