All week starting from the 25th of November to the 28th, Swindon Town football club came in to teach all classes at Peatmoor how to play football and a few tricks.

During the week there were lots of activity’s that took place outside and inside, including: a football shop with autographs of the players; meeting famous footballers; playing football and learning some tricks.

At the end of the week it was finally Year 6’s turn and we all got changed into our P.E kits and went outside on the astro. Before we did anything we had to warm up so we did some simple stretches. After that we all got a football and walked around the astro using different parts of our foot to kick the football around. Finally we got to play a game where one of the football coach’s came round and asked which part of the body they would like their teacher to put on the football, it was really funny!

Eventually we went back into the class room and got changed into our school uniform and when everyone was changed we lined up at the door and went into Year 5 class room to ask questions to a footballer, Lilian Nalis and he replied in French. By Darcey J
