HAMSTER owners from all over the country descended on Highworth to see if their pets measured up.
The annual show was held by Southern Hamster Club and alongside a judged competition there was also a chance to buy baby hamsters and get expert advice on nutrition and care.
Molly Pearce, 15, from Penhill, has been a regular at the shows for a year after meeting club secretary Sue Carter and seeing her collection.
“They’re just so friendly and they don’t take up too much space,” she said.
“It’s not just winning for me, it’s seeing the people.”
