ABBEY MEADS SUNDAY

THE BRAND NEW season in the Swindon Abbey Meads Sunday Leisure Leagues Premier Division saw Sureal Madrid romp home to a huge 15-3 rout of Cycle Club.

Dumpchester United got off the mark at the first attempt with a Phil Dudley-inspired 9-5 victory over Supremebeings, but last season’s champions Valley FC were edged out 6-5 by AFC Jinx in a thrilling affair.

MUFC were stars in Division One following an 11-0 demolition of Samba Boys, whilst Old’em Pathetic stormed home 9-3 against Sevenfields.

God With An Extra ‘O’ clung on for a pulsating 7-6 win over West Swindon Wanders in a true humdinger, and Smiths News FC were 7-3 winners against Red Star, as Lee Iddenden smashed home four goals.

ST JOSEPH’S SUNDAY

Luke Mitchell might have taken the plaudits for Lightning Monkeys this week in the St Joseph’s Sunday Premier Division, but he couldn’t stop his side going down 3-2 against FC Whitered.

Prem Pro’s had their wings clipped at the summit as they were held to an enthralling 3-3 draw with Swindon’s Finest.

Division One table-toppers Gorse Hill Blues claimed a 3-0 success over Boca Seniors, whilst Chris Loder ensured Sparcells beat Swindon ‘Til I Die via the same scoreline.
