PUPILS had to be evacuated after a fire scare in a school yesterday.
Crews from Swindon and Stratton were called to Churchfields School, Salcombe Grove, Walcot, at 12.20pm after alarms were set off by either ‘intense heat or flames’ within the building.
Firemen completed an inspection before leaving the school.
