POLICE were called out to Stratton St Margaret on Saturday night after reports that a group of cows escaped from their field and ran onto the A419.
The animals ran across the stretch near the Honda works shortly before 10pm. Motorists were asked to pass with care while the cows were rounded up and taken back into their paddock.
