This maybe the time in your life when you are making decisions about what college you want to go to next year, and I don’t know about you but I’m finding it extremely difficult to decide.

The choices I have riddled it down to are Cirencester and New College. Don’t get me wrong, Swindon college looks fantastic but like many people I am more of an academic person than a hands on one.

So what one to choose? That’s the question that’s giving me this awful dilemma. Both colleges are excellent with the high pass rate prospects and support systems that good colleges should offer. I have gone to both colleges for induction days, whilst preferring New College more; I put it down picking poor subject choices at Cirencester.

New College is an exciting and modern building with big spacious classrooms and top of the art computer systems and technology.Cirencester on the other hand is quaint college with big field space, with rooms with a bit of ‘character’ if not looking a bit too much like my secondary school at the moment.

You're probably saying, well you seem to be praising this New College a bit high compared to Cirencester, but I actually like the ambiance at Cirencester. New College just seems too popular and I can see it being a real squeeze.

Whatever one I end up going to, I just can’t wait for the new and exciting life of college, being in secondary school for five years really brings out your eagerness for change and the prospects of doing new subjects or just expanding on the ones you really enjoy at secondary school now.

Keeping that in mind both colleges do offer great things, whether it be technology, resources, or good old fashion ambiance, I really cannot make up my mind; I hope any teenager that is going into college next year will be nearer to making their decision than I am.

Next dilemma…. What subjects to take?
