A 10-YEAR-OLD Swindon dancer has landed a part in an English Youth Ballet performance.
Bonnie Brasier-Dinning, of The Lawns, starred in Giselle in Southsea, Portsmouth, much to the delight of her mother Rosie.
Bonnie, who trains with the Estelle School of Dance, had to travel to the south coast for six hour rehearsals before her performance at the Kings Theatre.
Mother-of-three Rosie said: “The performance was amazing. We were thrilled to bits. Bonnie was so happy to be picked in the audition. She loves her dancing.
“She was the only one from Swindon to be selected.
“It was a difficult auditor with many disappointed dancers.”
Lawn Primary School pupil Bonnie said: “I would love to be a dance teacher.”
The English Youth Ballet produces classical ballets in regional theatres in the UK and uses 100 young dancers chosen by audition.
