SWINDON 6-A-SIDE LEISURE LEAGUES ROUND-UP

Abbey Meads SUNDAY

STRATTON SIX were the big winners of the day in the Swindon Abbey Meads Sunday 6-a-side Leisure Leagues Premier Division, as they romped home to a massive 19-1 rout of Athletico FC.

Total 90’s huge 16-0 victory over Valley FC saw Dave Grabbel reach out for the man of the match award, and Joe Cox helped Cement FC to an 11-1 drubbing of Punjabi FC Swindon.

Tom Heinz demonstrated 59 varieties of how to claim the star man gong as God With An Extra ‘O’ stayed top with a 9-0 dismissal of Sevenfields.

Adam Grosland took the plaudits for Deportivo Lacka Talent as they clung on 8-7 in a pulsating affair with Shadwell Army in Division One, and the weather outside might be frightful but Leavemyarselona will hope to ‘Let It Snow’ as Neil Snow led them to a 7-3 victory over Red Star.

It was a case of ‘In Bed With Madinner’ for Help For Heroes this week as Ryan Madinner took the plaudits in a comfortable for 4-1 win over Old’em Pathetic.

ST JOSEPH’S SUNDAY

FC Whitered remain the team to beat at the top of the St Joseph’s Sunday league after their 5-0 victory over Swindon’s Finest.

Ricky Newman was unlucky to be on the losing side as Harvey Hotspur were beaten 4-2 by Real Fake FC, and Pete Norris starred for The Messenger in a 3-2 victory against BooYa.

NEXT GENERATION THURSDAY

Kembrey FC’s incredible 20-5 dismissal of FC Bassett this week in Next Generation Thursday sees them sit top on goal difference, as Phil Smith starred.

Westhaydon United are level on points with them as they saw off a Mark Beales-inspired Plough Inn 9-2, whilst Alex Eden ensured Lonely Barry Athletic were also on cloud nine with their crushing 9-3 victory over West Swindon FC.
