Miracle on 34th Street was a very magical and heart-warming film. If you would like to see a film that will put you in a festive mood for Christmas, Miracle on 34th street is the film for you. This movie is all about a little sic year old girl whose dreams and wishes come true. Susan (Mara Wilson) doesn’t believe in Santa Claus. Susan’s mother – Dorey (Elizabeth Perkins) is the one who tells her that Santa is not real as she doesn’t want Susan to go through the disappointment she did when she was a young girl. Dorey is a manager of Cole’s department store, and she replaces the Santa Claus in a parade with a guy on the street –Kris Kringle (Richard Attenborough) who happens to be the ‘real Santa Claus’. However, the competition across the street are losing their profits and plan to do something about it which includes challenging Kris Kringle to prove that he is the one and only Santa Claus. But how far will Kris Kringle go to prove that he is Santa Claus? Susan wants to believe in Santa and she asks Santa for something that only he could make come true. Can Santa/Kris Kringle make Susan’s wish come true? Will Susan and Dorey Believe in Santa in the end? Overall, Miracle on 34th street is a family film, and can be watched by anyone and still brings across the emotion and story line behind it. The emotion this film brings across is both negative and positive. At the end of this film you will definitely not regret watching it. The Actors in this Movie play their role incredibly well and they are truly believable. This is the perfect Family film and will bring across the emotion and story line behind it as well as putting you in the festive mood for Christmas.
