Film: Miracle On 34th Street
Miracle on 34th street is a true festive family film that will get you in the Christmas spirit immediately. The original 1947 truly captures the Christmas spirit with this timeless classic, but anyone would have thought of them making a new one in 1994 would have been an epic fail, as we all love the original. But no, it is a truly heart warming story. Kris Kringle played by Richard Attenborough is snapped up from the streets to play the Santa Claus in the department store ‘Coles’ Christmas parade. With his enthusiastic character is seen to be the ‘real deal’ of Santa Claus and much of the city is very impressed, but when he is approached by a young non-believer Susan (Mara Wilson) is very much saddened and tries to show her that there is a Santa Claus.
