YOU can tell that performing in front of an audience is a Natural feeling for Peter Andre.

And the audience at the Oasis Leisure Centre were certainly enjoying the show as he gyrated and sang the night away.

The singer sent the crowd wild as he made his entrance out of a cupboard on to the stage in front of a full house.

Peter, who first burst on to the music scene in 1996, put in a high energy performance singing songs from his most recent album, Revelation, as well as previous hits.

From Ready For Us to Call The Doctor to Behind Closed Doors, the star knew how to get his fans excited.

There was barely time to catch your breath as the Australian and his five backing dancers, danced around the set and changed into costume after costume.

There was even a bit of audience participation as Peter got everyone to join in with a dance routine. Well, almost everyone. There were a couple of men in the centre who refused to take part, despite being asked nicely by the star.

His performance of Unconditional – accompanied by video clips of him with his children Princess Tiaamii and Junior – was particularly touching and it was clear to the audience that this was a song close to his heart.

However, as the man himself said, it’s all very well singing the new stuff, but you need to throw the old stuff in too.

So he did, and the crowd sang their hearts out to his original hits Flava, Natural and I Feel You.

At the end of the night, Peter thanked the Swindon crowd for coming along as well as their love and support during his divorce from Katie Price.

“The last eight or nine months have been emotional,” he said.

“There’s been a lot of bad time, but also some amazing times.

“But I’ve had the support of some amazing people and I have been amazed by the love the British public have shown me.

“That means a lot to me because we all make mistakes, we’re all human.

“But you have shown me such love and support and I’m really grateful for that.”

After the touching speech it was time to lighten the mood once again and he launched into a guaranteed crowd-pleaser Mysterious Girl. Fans in the crowd said they’d had a fantastic night.

Kerry Sharp only bought her ticket yesterday afternoon. She’d called on the off chance and was offered two front row seats that had just been released by the promoters.

“It was a complete surprise, but a good one,” said Kerry, of West Swindon.

“It was definitely worth the money to come and see him.”
