POLICE in Swindon are appealing for the next of kin of Winifred Emily West to come forward.
The coroner’s officers at Swindon are currently dealing with the death of Mrs West, 97, who was living at 12 Station Road, Chiseldon, at the time of her death on Thursday.
Mrs West died of natural causes, and police say there are no suspicious circumstances.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: “Unfortunately, we have been unable to trace any next of kin for Mrs West, although it is believed that there is a son, named Michael, who may still be living in the Wiltshire area.
“If Michael West reads this appeal, or should anyone know of his current whereabouts or address, they are asked to contact the coroner’s officers at Gablecross Police Station, Swindon, on either 01793 507841 or 01793 507842.”
