A MAN charged with possessing more than 100,000 indecent images of children pleaded guilty to all counts at Swindon Crown Court yesterday.
Christopher Roche, 46, pleaded guilty to possessing indecent photographs and videos of children between September 1998 and May 2008.
Roche also pleaded guilty to nine charges of indecently assaulting a girl aged under 14, five charges of making an indecent photograph of a child, and eight charges of distributing such images.
Defending solicitor Sukhdev Garcha said: “Given the manner of the offences a psychiatric report is required.
“This cries out of a man of 46 years of age who has got a problem.”
Roche was given extended bail on the conditions that he has no unsupervised contact with a child under 18 and that he does not contact two named individuals.
The case is to be re-adjourned at Swindon Crown Court on Friday, November 5.
