SWINDON Town players dropped by to meet fans and sign autographs as the Npower roadshow rolled into town.

Club captain Jonathan Douglas and shot stopper David Lucas were in Wharf Green for the meet and greet with fans.

Supporters lined up to have their photo taken with their favourite stars and also catch a glimpse at the Football League Trophy.

As well as meeting fans the players pitted their gaming skills against each other as they played FIFA 11 skills on the EA Sports touring rig.

David said: “These type of events are important, when I was a young kid in Preston it was something I used to look forward to and always go to.

“As a club we do a lot of events like this, we usually have a couple a week and it’s great to get out and meet the fans.”

Daniel Hunt and Geoffrey Wong came out from work to meet their favourite players.

Daniel said: “We’ve just popped out during our lunch break to see them when we heard they were going to be here, it’s great to see the players up close.”

Any supporters who changed their fuel supplier to Npower on the day got their hands on a £45 voucher to spend in the Town club shop.
