Drinks all round as lorry sheds its beer load
THERE were drinks all round on the A419 when a lorry shed its load.
Police were called to the entry slip road of the southbound A419 near the South Gate of Honda at 12.20pm on Monday after the lorry shed cans of Budweiser across the road.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said the inside lane was completely blocked with beer cans but it was safe for the other lane to remain open.
Motorists were faced with the unusual sight for about an hour before all the cans were removed. No one was hurt and traffic returned to normal at 1.40pm.
