A CRAZY netball tournament is taking place later this month to raise funds for Prospect Hospice.

The event, which has been organised by fundraiser Steve Jordan in his bid to raise £10,000 for the charity this year.

The game involves every player in the team playing outside of their normal positions. The tournament, sponsored by Trevor Hunt Accountancy, takes place on May 15 at the Dorcan Sports Centre and will involve 32 teams taking part in pool matches, followed by a knockout competition with medals for the winners and runners-up.

The event will also include refreshments and a raffle which Steve is hoping will raise even more money towards his £10k challenge.

The netball tournament is open to players aged 16 and over who must be England netball affiliated, and will cost £40 per team.
