Dr Who’s most famous adversaries will be invading the Central Library this weekend.
The Daleks will base themselves at the library, in Regent Circus, on Saturday as they spend the day raising money for charity in the town centre.
To make the alien visitors feel at home, there will be a story time event at 11am for children under five where the book Aliens Love Underpants will be read.
At 1pm, local children’s sci-fi author David Johnson will be holding writing workshops for budding authors between the ages of seven and 11 and signing copies of his Crystal Quest book series. Both these events are free.
