PEOPLE will get the chance to question Witlshire’s top police officers in an online chat open to the public tonight.

The live session from 7pm to 8pm will provide members of the public with an opportunity to ask questions directly to Temporary Chief Constable Pat Geenty, Temporary Deputy Chief Constable Mike Veale and Wiltshire Police Authority Chairman Chris Hoare.

Ch Con Geenty said: “We are hosting this chat via our force website to give Wiltshire residents an opportunity to ask us questions and give us suggestions about policing issues that matter to them.”

Chief officers and the police authority chairman will endeavour to answer as many questions as possible during the session.

However, it may not be possible to answer all questions within the live hour so Wiltshire Police will post answers to questions not answered then on the Wiltshire Police website by the end of tomorrow.

The online session must not be used to report a crime or query the progress with an existing crime.

All questions will be monitored and will only be posted once they have been approved.
