The Adver has been nominated for a host of gongs at the annual South West Media Awards.
The full list of nominees for the awards, sponsored by EDF Energy in association with HoldtheFrontPage, was published yesterday and saw the newspaper shortlisted ten times in six categories, including Daily Newspaper of the Year.
Several journalists have been nominated in both the Newcomer of the Year and Print Journalist of the year categories, while two Adver snappers are up for Photographer of the Year.

The winners will be announced on 28 June at the National Trust’s Assembly Rooms in Bath.
