MUSICAL stand-up and actress Isy Suttie brings her latest live solo show to the Arts Centre on Saturday.
Called Pearl and Dave, the show is described by Isy as “a one-woman musical cyber love story”.
Perhaps best known for her role as Dobby in Peep Show, Isy plays all the roles in a romantic tale of hope, heartbreak and emoticons – yes, emoticons.
Pearl and Dave live out their dreams in cyberspace against a backdrop of music and vignettes from Isy’s own love life.
As well as appearing in Peep Show, Isy played Kiki in Whites on BBC2 and turned up as a memorably drink-prone teacher in the recent revival of Rab C Nesbitt.
Last year she was nominated in the Breakthrough Artist category at the British Comedy Awards, as well as appearing on Dave’s One Night Stand.
Tickets for Isy’s show on Saturday, which starts at 8pm, cost £12 from 01793 614837 or boxoffice@ swindon. gov.uk.
