Marsel Hudhri, 32, of Bathampton Street, has been fined £525 and given six points on his licence for driving without insurance.
He was also charged with driving a vehicle where the tyre tread was less than the legal limit of 1.6mm on the front nearside and offside tyres. He was fined £100 for each offence. Magistrates also ordered him to pay £35 costs to Wiltshire Police Authority and a £15 victim surcharge.
