A FINAL call has gone out to find individuals, organisations and businesses in Wiltshire that are leading the way in first aid.
The entry deadline is fast approaching and people now have until July 27 to apply for the St John Ambulance First Aid Awards to be hosted by TV presenter Ray Mears on November 19 in London.
The high-profile awards event will recognise people’s courage and knowledge as first aid role models, as well as raising awareness that first aid can be the difference between lives lost and lives saved.
Ray Mears said: “The skill to save a life is essential; you never know when you could find yourself faced with a situation where first aid is the difference between life and death.
“I can’t wait to hear the first aid stories that come out of the awards and meet those leading the way.”
Find out about the award categories, and help ensure that inspirational first aid stories and organisations who are going the extra mile get the recognition they deserve.
