A new free health walk is coming to Wroughton.

The group will meet every Thursday at 10am at the Ellendune Centre, starting on October 18.

The walks will last for about 40 minutes and will be led by a trained volunteer.

The walk is part of Challenge Swindon, which is a programme of initiatives and inspirational events that have been developed by Swindon Council’s Leisure Services as part of its commitment to support the residents of Swindon to be more active, more often.

They offer a range of community based sport and leisure activities including cycling, walking, disability sports, sports coaching for young people and exercise for the older age group. They also deliver a number of programmes that aim to improve health and well being, from weight management to cardio care.
