RECRUITMENT provider Juice Recruitment got a lesson in teamwork during a team-building exercise with former England Rugby star coach, Mike Catt.

Juice Recruitment, which has offices in Swindon and Trowbridge cites its brand, its culture and its team as the most important key factors in creating a winning strategy.

Having achieved growth in 2014 and 2015, Juice has plans to opem new branches this year and managing director Emma Summers wanted to start the year ensuring her team had a winning, hungry and progressive spirit in order to achieve the year’s objectives.

Emma said: “The key to a winning team is leadership, a common goal, a thorough plan, to know the rules of the game and ensure you have 100% per cent involvement and inclusion from everyone in the business.”

With Emma’s love of rugby, she took her theory one step further when she teamed up with former Mike Catt, a member of the 2003 World Cup winning side.

Catt’s finest moment in an England shirt came in 2003, when he was part of the side that won the World Cup in Sydney. Awarded an MBE in the wake of England’s 2003 World Cup triumph, he received an OBE in the New Year Honours list at the end of 2010.

He went on to be one of Stuart Lancaster’s management team with England, coaching England them ahead of the 2015 World Cup.

Mike Catt began his session by awarding each Juice team member with their own customised rugby shirt, which they proudly wore ahead of the game.

MikeThe 44-year-old then empowered gave the team an insight into the England team’s training regime and what it takes to win.

In the driving wind and rain he then put the Juice team through their paces on the pitch at Calcot Manor, Tetbury.

After rugby tackles, scrums, relays and passes, The team were wet, muddy but finished the session fired up and hungry.

Mike Afterwards, Catt said: “What a fantastic team – just full of energy, team spirit and up for anything. Well Done Team Juice!.”

Emma said she was thrilled with the day. She said: “It was great to bring everyone together, directing the team towards the ultimate vision of the organisation. Having everyone fully engaged and included ensures that we are going out to win.”
