A cross section of local business leaders attended a private meeting organised by Inspire Wessex Chambers at Knorr Bremse in Melksham with representatives from the Bank of England.
The purpose of the meeting was to provide feedback to the BOE on how their businesses were faring in the current economic climate.
This information helps the BOE in planning future interest and inflation rates.
Business leaders attending were from Knorr Bremse, Siemens, Cooper Tires, Atkins Global, MJ Church, Milsted Langdon, Doree Bonner International, Anthony Best Dynamics Plc, Rotaval, Whitehall Garden Centre, Edmont, WHKemp and Kavanagh's.
