Regarding the proposed closure of Latchmere Lane, let us compare this with Sheen Lane, which does not have speed restriction ramps, so the speed of traffic is faster, with the traffic density being much higher than Latchmere Lane. There is width restrictions due to parked cars, narrow road, and a blind corner, on top of this lorries use the road.
With all this inconvenience to the people who live there I have never heard of a real grumble of the situation which is completely different to the minority in Latchmere Lane whose only concern is not in my back yard and damn everybody else.
