Police were called to an address in Deacon Street shortly after 4pm following reports of four men causing a disturbance in the street and banging on the door.
When the police arrived the men ran off and while they gave chase no-one was arrested, although two were detained for a short period as the circumstances were established.
Police are swarming around the tented market in Swindon.

Three members of the same family have appeared before a judge accused of carrying out a serious assault on a man last year. Michael and Martin Saunders of Ainsworth Road and Amanda Saunders of Vain Hill, Cherhill are charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent to Peter Gallagher.
