Songs of patriotism
SWINDON: Swindon Recital Series’ 20th anniversary will be celebrated in conjunction with St George’s Day and Shakespeare’s birthday for a patriotic occasion at the Wyvern Theatre tomorrow.
The programme presents a picture of English songwriting at the beginning of the 20th Century, with the major figures and the inspiration on them.
