Memorial is approved
STRATTON: The planning application for a peace memorial on the corner of Grange Drive and Ermin Street by Stratton St Margaret Parish Council has been given the green light.
The memorial will consist of vertical screens depicting war, weapons and local scenes.
The screens will surround a solid oak seating area and central memorial bowl. A new path will be formed in red asphalt and paving around the memorial in blue slate. There will be dense yew bush planting around the central memorial.
