A blaze of grass
BLUNSDON: A crew from Cricklade was called to deal with a small grass fire near Widhil Lane on Wednesday at 6pm.
The fire was only about 20 by 30 metres in size and beaters were used to put it out.
The crew then received a call from the Highways Agency to a smouldering fencing panel close to an earlier grass fire, which they dipped it a nearby stream.
