Spitfires pair Bev and Chris Maull with their regional BBC Unsung Hero award
SWINDON Spitfires founders and the driving force behind the club Bev and Chris Maull find out tomorrow night if they are winners of the Unsung Hero award at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year ceremony in Glasgow.
The couple won the regional prize last month and in Sunday’s televised show will discover if they were picked ahead of 14 others to win the national prize.
The pair were honoured for their commitment to leading, running and maintaining one of Swindon’s orginal female football clubs. With Chris having helped to found the club back in 1967.
