IN answer to Frank Jurge's letter regarding the murder of ants. Yes, Frank, the life of a fox is more important than the life of an ant.
The fox is a noble creature which rids farmland of an abundance of rabbits that destroy hard-working farmers' crops, so foxy does a worthwhile job.
If people with poultry do not take sufficient precautions Brer Fox will devour them, but only if the opportunity is there.
The industrious ant does a worthwhile job as well, but I don't want ants in my pants, or bungalow. Foxes, yes.
