Mr Reid (SA, April 10) says that his MP Anne Snelgrove does not answer his letters.
He is lucky to have received a generic letter.
At least three Wanborough residents have written to her, on several occasions, and we are all waiting for a reply.
After four letters I am still expecting a response. Even an acknowledgement slip would be acceptable!
Does our MP have a secretary? She is our MP and needs to respond to her constituents. Other national and international issues may be important to her, but we must come first.
I would also like to say to Ms Snelgrove that I too am opposed to identity cards.
This Government has been guilty of the worst attacks on civil liberty since the 17th Century and historians such as myself will judge them by their record.
Mr Reid is correct, that once elected, some MPs' interest in constituents wanes.
Oh, for the days of Julia Drown she was an excellent MP.
