HOW apt that Anne Snelgrove's brown nose award is reported on the same page (Adver, Fri May 26) as an invitation to collect the Chronicles of Swindon.
Private Eye's OBN recipients are chosen with care and it's a sad entry in the history book of Swindon that one of its MPs has been chosen.
Ms Snelgrove's comment in the same article that she puts Swindon before party politics rather confirms the award went to the right person.
For the record Anne Snelgrove has a 100 per cent record of voting with her party.
Reflect this voting record against the fact the majority of SBC are opposed to the government's meta database (the National Identity Register).
Anne Snelgrove resolutely voted in the opposite direction... with her party.
