REGARDING Keith Ratcliffe's letter (SA, June 10) in which he says being shot at by Jewish terrorists has affected me!

Before that I was on the live end of V1 flying bombs. Can tell me the same could happen to you and you not be affected?

One of my friends, who was in the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry, and two pals fought three Germans with bayonets and beat them. He said he wished it had never happened as he has been having nightmares ever since and was waking up at night seeing the German's face. Can you tell me that we who have felt like this should stop hating?

Don't you think those of us that have been blinded, lost limbs etc can forget and feel for our Service people who are involved by politicians in illegal, unwinnable wars?

It's nice to know you are so sympathetic towards our Forces who are being forced to put their lives at risk in the hell holes of the Middle East. Thanks for nothing.
