IN reply to A Crompton's letter about Bath University situated in the town centre.
Many of the Central Ward residents do not wish to have a university situated in the town centre.
There is a huge problem with parking, traffic flow and family homes being turned into houses of multiple occupancy and a lack of green space.
The centre will not be able to sustain a university as the infrastructure is already stretched to its limits.
A university situated in the town centre will encourage the loss of more family homes and transient residents who do not care how and where they live.
This causes a detrimental effect on the area and leaves residents who have lived in this area for many years out in the cold.
K Leakey.
