8:50pm
Hard to see that as a point gained, but I think that's how you have to view it.
8:47pm
What a game, though. Breathless. Absolutely crazy.
8:46pm
That's a really tough loss for Cats to take. Ten times they have gone past 60 minutes this season, and 10 times they have not come out of it with two points.
8:45pm
And Matt Foord has won it for Bracknell against his former club!
8:44pm
Paul Swindlehurst fires off-target.
8:43pm
Bronnimann shoots wide!
8:43pm
Hoog misses. One penalty to win it for the Bees!
8:42pm
Wide by Shaun Thompson.
8:42pm
Perkkio misses. It looked in!
8:41pm
Smital misses. Saved by Murdy.
8:41pm
Nell misses. It's saved.
8:40pm
Is it going to be 10th time lucky for Cats in overtime/penalties?
8:39pm
One of the games of the season without a doubt.
8:39pm
We're going to penalty shots.
8:37pm
There is 90 seconds left as Murdy makes a vital save.
8:36pm
Absolutely terrific atmosphere at the Hive.
8:35pm
Come on @SwindonWildcats dig deep and score !!!! #swindonwildcats
— @Freckles2408 13 January 2013
8:34pm
Watt has a chance for the Gordie!
8:33pm
Nell shoots - nothing doing.
8:32pm
Here we go with overtime.
8:30pm
What a game this is.
8:30pm
We're going to overtime!
8:28pm
GOAL! (Bracknell 4, Wildcats 4, 58.48)
Unbelievable drama. It looks like we're going to have overtime here. I do believe it was Baird of all people that scored on the powerplay.
8:27pm
Murdy pulled.
8:26pm
Time out.
8:26pm
Powerplay Cats as Spearing gets two minutes for tripping. Drama!
8:26pm
Under 90 seconds now...
8:24pm
Three minutes left for Cats to find a goal.
8:23pm
Penalties in full were Lack 2+2, Galazzi 2+2 for roughing and 2 for slashing, Strycek 2+2+game. Fojtik got minors to add to his game and Watt just got 2+2.
8:19pm
Swindon back to full strength. Gordie for Watt?
8:17pm
Bees back to full strength now.
8:15pm
Cracking defending from Moore to cut the puck out in a two on one situation.
8:13pm
GOAL! (Bracknell 4, Wildcats 3, 49.15)
Just seconds after play has resumed, Lukas Smital puts the Bees back in front.
8:11pm
Four on four...
8:09pm
That was absolute chaos of the best kind.
8:08pm
Fojtik has been given his marching orders. No more hockey for him tonight.
8:08pm
Monster wait while the penalties are sorted out.
8:07pm
First it all kicked off between Fojtik and Galazzi. The Czech gets in plenty of decent shots and definitely wins that one. Then over the other side of the ice, Watt has started smashing seven bells out of Alan Lack. Hell of a fight and the Cats man wins it easily. He actually had two bites of the cherry and was still punching Lack when the match official was between them.
8:04pm
Absolute carnage!
8:01pm
Cats have steadied the ship here. A fair few shots raining in.
7:58pm
Well we haven't had overtime for a while. Anyone fancy it?
7:56pm
Cats now back to full strength of course.
7:55pm
That was not in the script.
7:53pm
GOALS! (Bracknell 3, Wildcats 3, 41.00 and 41.16)
First Spearing pulls one back on the powerplay and is immediately (accidentally) checked by Watt. Then 16 seconds later, Bees are level through Bronnimann. Unbelievable!
7:48pm
Here we go with period three.
7:47pm
Players back out on the ice and Aldridge steps into the penalty box. Bees powerplay to start the third period of course.
7:46pm
Players waiting patiently to resume.
7:44pm
Just over three minutes and the players will be out again.
7:42pm
Don't forget to pester/follow me on Twitter at @nedpayne1. And keep those tweets coming in #swindonwildcats
7:33pm
Aldridge will have 91 seconds to serve when the third period starts.
7:29pm
That's the end of period two and I think that's what you call payback. Can Cats make it stick in the final 20 minutes?
7:28pm
Two minutes for Aldridge.
7:27pm
Minute left.
7:25pm
Bees kill the penalty.
7:23pm
@SwindonWildcats @nedpayne1 come in boys, show 'em how its done !!! #comeonyoucats #epihl #swindonwildcats #redarmy
— @slw250692 13 January 2013
7:23pm
Cats powerplay. Rob Lamey gets two minutes.
7:23pm
That is the closest I've ever come to being hit by a puck. About four feet in that one. Luckily my face is still intact.
7:19pm
Cats back to full strength. Bracknell really have gone to sleep here.
7:19pm
GOAL! (Bracknell 1, Wildcats 3, 32.06)
Cats are short-handed but a rapid counter ends with Nell firing in goal number three from close range. Assists Hoog and Jan Melichar.
7:15pm
Two minutes for Joe Baird.
7:13pm
We are at the halfway point.
7:12pm
Bees back to full strength now of course.
7:12pm
GOAL! (Bracknell 1, Wildcats 2, 28.19)
There was only one second left of the powerplay, but Cats are level and it's that man Fojtik again. There was an almighty scramble in front of the net and the D-man forced the puck across the line. Assists from Hoog and Watt.
7:09pm
Enjoying this gambling with Murdy. Wonder if Cats will be tempted to go for it again!
7:07pm
Two minutes for Pavel Strycek.
7:07pm
A matter of seconds later, he's back out.
7:06pm
Murdy pulled again!
7:04pm
Penalty killed by Cats.
7:02pm
Bees powerplay now for a Cats icing infringement.
6:59pm
GOAL! (Bracknell 1, Wildcats 1, 20.45)
Tomas Fojtik sure is useful in front of goal at times. The giant Czech defenceman is under no great pressure on the powerplay and he beats Ambler with an effort low into the right corner. Matias Perkkio claimed an assist as did Nell. Game on!
6:57pm
Period two is go.
6:55pm
Here come the players. Don't forget that Cats start period two on the powerplay.
6:53pm
One minute until we resume.
6:50pm
Just to underline the extent to which Cats came back into proceedings aft that bad start, they outshot their hosts 16-7 in the first period, yet are still 1-0 down. Cruel game.
6:47pm
Cats need a massive start to period 2 and not let the Bees in like yesterday. Says me sat on my sofa watching the feed from @nedpayne1 :-)
— @carpoholic70 13 January 2013
6:43pm
Breathless sort of a period. Apart from the first few minutes, it was very, very competitive.
6:39pm
Ollie Bronniman got a two-minute holding penalty right on the buzzer. Cats will start the second period on the powerplay.
6:38pm
The first period is done.
6:37pm
After a slow start, Cats are emerging as the better side in this first period. Still a goal down, though.
6:35pm
Watt smashes the puck goalwards but Ambler is equal to it.
6:33pm
Hoog is released from penalty box duties. Bees also back to full strength.
6:33pm
Hoog is released from penalty box duties.
6:32pm
Moore is out of the box and temporarily clean through on goal! Bracknell sweep up the danger.
6:31pm
Bracknell powerplay.
6:29pm
Moore getting in there with Scott Spearing but it's more verbals than anything else. They both go to the penalty box. Hoog is in there as well.
6:27pm
Just under eight minutes left of the first period.
6:26pm
Cats starting to get it together now. Jonas Hoog, Nell and Tomas Fojtik have all gone close in the last few minutes.
6:25pm
Better passing out of defence tonite and the cats can make it 2pts tonite. #RedArmy #SwindonWildcats

6:25pm
@SwindonWildcats heads up boys #bouncebackability
— @Freckles2408 13 January 2013
6:24pm
End to end.
6:20pm
Cats are back to full strength.
6:19pm
GOAL! (Bracknell 1, Wildcats 0, 4.59)
Powerplay goal for Shaun Thompson. Easy tap-in. Bees were two men up and made it count. Last pass was by James Galazzi.
6:17pm
Hosts are two men up for the next 15 seconds.
6:17pm
Bracknell back to full strength.
6:16pm
Two minutes for Aaron Nell for tripping.
6:15pm
Two minutes for Joe Baird for interference.
6:15pm
Two minutes for ex-Wildcat Matt Foord.
6:14pm
And he's back on. What was that about?
6:13pm
Murdy pulled!
6:11pm
Murdy in goal for Cats. Carl Ambler for the Bees.
6:10pm
And we're off.
6:09pm
Man with the armbands tonight is Roman Szucs.
6:07pm
@nedpayne1 @jackl86 @slapshot6032 @stripes I would have sworn it was Ry but we are the other end of rink
— @Ulli2311 13 January 2013
6:06pm

6:05pm
The debate is raging on Twitter as to who scored the first goal last night. I wasnt there so can't comment. Was it Sam Bullas or Ryan Aldridge? I'm putting it to the public vote. Tweet using #swindonwildcats
6:02pm
Here come the players. I always think it must be a bit odd skating in complete darkness.
6:02pm
Lights are out.
6:01pm
Just seen Nicky Watt. He looks pumped. Then again, when doesn't he?
6:00pm
@nedpayne1 @SwinWildcats need to bounce back from last night, I'm going for a 4-2 win for the #swindonwildcats
— @cricket_mad 13 January 2013
5:56pm
@SwindonWildcats we can do this lads! #2points
— @J7gti 13 January 2013
5:55pm
We're about five minutes away...
5:54pm
I'm sat by the drum brigade, just to give myself the truly authentic ice hockey experience. And ruined ears.
5:53pm
We had absolutely stacks of Cats stories in the paper last week. Think it might have even reached double figures, and this week there will be plenty more where that came from. Make sure you check the Adver daily, we're not just about the Mondays and Fridays where Cats are concerned.
5:50pm
A fair clutch of Wildcats fans here tonight. Who doesn't love the M4 games?
5:49pm
Ice cleared and the Zamboni is doing the business.
5:49pm
Just been speaking to a travelling fan who reckons Swindon will take it by two goals tonight. Do you agree? Opinions please using #swindonwildcats
5:46pm
A big 2 points on offer tonight, Cats really need to dig deep and take them home #swindonwildcats
— @Dunster43 13 January 2013
5:45pm
I plan to get the latest on any potential new signing later tonight, so look out for that in tomorrow's match report.
5:44pm
Wildcats' injury situation remains the same by the way. Just Lee Richardson and Jamie Hayes out.
5:43pm
On a different subject - an appeal. Wildcats D-man Shane Moore lost a necklace with an eternity ring attached on Saturday which was of considerable sentimental value. If you think you have seen or found it, please contact the Wildcats.
5:41pm
Get those predictions coming in please. I will get the ball rolling by reluctantly saying a two-goal home win.
5:40pm
It will be interesting to see who is between the pipes for Cats this evening. Dean Skinns started last night but was hailed off midway through that disastrous second period. Tom Murdy came in and had a slightly better save percentage. We will see.
5:39pm
What do we think the chances are of it kicking off with Nicky Watt tonight? He will want to go out with a bang I'm sure. Is a Gordie on the cards?
5:36pm
The players are of course out on the ice going through the usual warm-ups.
5:24pm
Good luck @SwindonWildcats for the game tonight...will be shouting from the sofa !!! #loudandproud
— @Freckles2408 13 January 2013
5:19pm
Get your predictions in first of all please...
5:18pm
Don't forget, we desperately want your comments throughout the game. This you can do either using the comments section below, or by using #swindonwildcats on Twitter. Provided your comments are (fairly) coherent, there's a pretty good chance they will be reprinted on this live feed. Get tweeting!
5:16pm
I'm live at the Hive where Swindon Wildcats face the Bracknell Bees for the second time in 24 hours. A 6-2 home defeat was not what the doctor ordered last night so Ryan Aldridge's troops should be pumped up for this one.
5:15pm
You've had a lie-in, read the papers, eaten an enormous roast and fallen asleep on the sofa. What do you need to complete your Sunday? Ice Hockey Live of course.
