SWINDON TOWN: Paolo ready for four away games in 11 days
6:00am Monday 14th January 2013 in Sport By Sam Morshead
ON THE ROAD AGAIN: Paolo Di Canio celebrates a point at Bournemouth
PAOLO Di Canio believes he will get a good indication of exactly what Swindon Town can achieve this season from the way they deal with a run of four away matches in 11 days in the coming weeks.
The Robins’ clash with Shrewsbury on Saturday is their last home fixture until February 9, as Town make the trips to Tranmere, Leyton Orient, Crawley and Colchester in pursuit of the points needed to maintain their League One promotion bid.
It may be a daunting prospect, but Di Canio is confident the atmosphere in the Swindon dressing room is positive enough, after the 1-1 draw at Bournemouth, to ensure his squad delivers on each occasion.
“It’s obvious that four in a row, every three days, is something we will go through and test ourselves,” he said.
“Today was crucial and now every week I am happy to say to my players ‘it’s a key game’ but the period when we have from now through the next five games will give us the real picture of what we can do for the rest of the season.
“Five games in 15 days – four in a row away from – is a tough test.
“Two are in the night which is a good record for us and one is a game that we have to play when not many others are playing, so that could give us a bonus.
“It will be interesting to see how we can work because we will be up and down, traveling every two days.
“I’m sure there is such enthusiasm with these guys that if we have a chance to win Saturday we will go with turbo and with desire. I’m sure that we can get very good results, even if we have four games in a row away from home.”

With our away form I'd expect a return of a minimum of 10 points - Tranmere being the most difficult, wont be another 5-nill ther, but don't rule it out against any of the others.

Yet wasn't our last televised game the one with Brighton at the start of the season. 3-0 and that sublime training ground free kick that paid off so well.
But we are playing Crawley.... How'd the song go .......
We only win 3-nill
We only win 3-nill ........

Looking forward to Saturday already...... score prediction... 3.1. Collins must start against his old team even after the bad miss on Saturday...
He can borrow my Banjo for training, if anyone has an ex-mrs who can provide the cow's arse?
