Each of the incoming directors is understood to have passed their respective fit and proper persons tests, while McCrory is believed to be awaiting special dispensation from the relevant authorities to hold positions at both Swindon and Banbury United until the end of the campaign.

Louis, if you read the column again, the only hold up i can see is wether he will get the dispensation to stay with both clubs. I think we have to be positive about the new owners, if PDC has spoken to them last week and he is still here, perhaps he trusts them as well, we can only wait with bated breath , lol

I have been reading/posting on here for around 12 months, and have come to the conclusion that if SAP, Den, Jock, Smirg and Joey B were to post under completely new identities, very few people would find their posts worthy of comment.

For the most part they quote/re-quote, copy or even copy and paste each other so often that it is near impossible to find anything original written.

There are only 2 "regular" posters that are worth reading...LR and Wiz because what they have to say is based on fact with opinion.

I should mention that there are many other posters that visit this site that offer very good opinions and have interesting arguments/discussion

I don't understand either of your comments. The club is in a state of transition and nobody knows for sure what is going to happen, so how can you expect the manager to commit his future? The message he gave before the Crawley game was that he was considering his position and, as yet, nothing has changed. Why would it?

Once the takeover goes through and the new board give a clear indication of how they plan to take the club forward, that will be the right time for Di Canio to decide where his future lies.

Think about it - if your employer was going through a similar takeover process and you didn't know what the prospective owners' plans are, let alone what your terms of employment will be, would you make a commitment to that company? Of course not - you would consider your position and make your decision when the situation becomes clearer. There's too much uncertainty at the moment, so all we can hope is that it's wrapped up in the next couple of days.

I feel we have a team that is supported purely by free masons as what they hear and say is all hidden from the real world and stays in the lodge.

I disagree completely I find the football related views and opinions of SAP, Den, Jock, Smirg and Joey B (as well as Wiz, LR and most other posters) very interesting.

In an ideal world the couple of seemingly never-ending feuds could be finished or taken off-line, but apart from that all good stuff, and highly unfair to say these posters are spouting rubbish.

In the meantime I will try and make my posts more factual and interesting and seek to gain your approval :-)

He has spoken in this tense for a couple of weeks or so and his words are carefully chosen. I have taken hours last week going back over his quotes in weeks and months gone by and his spoken English is all quite clear cut on past/present/future. I also picked up that the whole squad have days off now, something which has hitherto been a bit rare, but explainable as we have a long break, and we have just had three games in a short period.
I WANT HIM TO STAY, but I do think listening and watching him he is at best uneasy with this situation. I don't think he is a quitter, but he is also nobodies fool. As long as this deal goes through, and as long as there is money on the table to allow him some freedom in the market, I think he will stay and do his best to see the job through. For him, second best is not good enough, and its been a very long wait for this club to get someone with that mindset. It would seem 20 goal a season strikers are more easily found than people with his virtues and qualities. The wait hopefully is worthwhile as we have seen plenty of ankers in years gone by. Many rumours and much hear say about Jed, but he is only the front man like Wray, and may be put aside just as easily after a transitional period, who knows. Time to exercise patience, by now we should all be experts at just that.

I quite like Loose Women the show, and some of them are nice and tasty, and it seems quite liberal as well. but then again, I've only been married to my wife for 33 years, but, I've been married to this club for 54 years. my choice and happy with it.

Am posting under a different identity just for this one post so that I don't receive loads of grief.

I have been reading/posting on here for around 12 months, and have come to the conclusion that if SAP, Den, Jock, Smirg and Joey B were to post under completely new identities, very few people would find their posts worthy of comment.

For the most part they quote/re-quote, copy or even copy and paste each other so often that it is near impossible to find anything original written.

There are only 2 "regular" posters that are worth reading...LR and Wiz because what they have to say is based on fact with opinion.

I should mention that there are many other posters that visit this site that offer very good opinions and have interesting arguments/discussion

OTT comments? Ha! Oh how some don't like a difference of opinion. It matters not whether I stand or sit. I did think it was a good effort by the fans although still over the top ego massaging. In return the manager answered nothing about his future but did decide to wave at the end to keep you all on your toes and cause more uncertainty. It's nice you wonder about what I'm doing though. Good effort from the fans but won't make any difference in the long term.

LR - You have to remember I'm in the Members Lounge and witnessed it of my own accord plus checked with others to make sure it was them. ... As mentioned I'm hoping it was purely Jed and a few of his mates and not the full board....REALLY hoping!! ... Very well put Carlo. That is why he is so unhappy and obviously needs reassurance it will not happen again - but then once betrayed..... He cannot possibly let us fans know what he and the new owners spoke about as the deal is still waiting to go through. I couldn't manage the away games but really noticed the how the balance of the team is affected by Ritchie going. I really don't want to lose him but have a horrible feeling we will. If we want championship football then a lot of money has to be put forward. Also, people seem to blame Paolo for wasting money - he doesn't sign the cheques, so really cannot be totally blamed.

As for the manager, he stated quite clearly in his post match interview, what his current stance is, and like others have mentioned, nothing will change until everything else becomes clear. That does not mean that the fans should not show him just how much they want him to stay though.
