TOWN players tweeted goodbye messages to fans yesterday after being informed that they would not be offered new deals.

Simon Ferry, Raffa De Vita, Joe Devera, Tommy Miller and Chris Smith will all leave the club when their contracts expire in June, while Aden Flint, Nathan Thompson and Leigh Bedwell have all been offered new deals.

Discussions over the future of captain Alan McCormack are still ongoing.

De Vita tweeted: “Today is my last day at Swindon. Massive thank you to every1 at the club and to all the fans!! I've loved every minute of my time here!

“Think its the right time to move on but I feel privileged to have played for such a good club & to have been part of these 2 amazing seasons.

“I wish everyone all the best for next season! i know it won't be easy but I hope the club will achieve what we couldn't this season!”

Samsung Win a Pro Contract winner Smith tweeted: “A massive thank you to everyone who has helped and worked with me at Swindon town over the past year and a half.

“Its been an amazing experience, one that il never forget.”

It is understood that Miller is likely to end up at a club in the north, with former club Hartlepool strong contenders for his signature.
