ALAN McCormack is being chased by four Championship clubs as he mulls over whether to remain at Swindon Town.

The Advertiser understands the midfielder, whose contract at the County Ground expires next month, is the subject of interest from Huddersfield, Millwall, Barnsley and Doncaster following a string of consistent performances for the Robins in 2012/13.

It is believed that at least one of those clubs has tabled a proposal to the 29-year-old, who will also ponder over Swindon’s offer of a new deal. McCormack has gone on record to state his desire to stay loyal to Town but, with a young family to look after, he is keen to determine his future as soon as possible.

He previously told the Advertiser: “There are some good clubs who are making calls and I’ve spoken to a couple of clubs already.

“I’m just waiting to see what Swindon say and go from there. I’d rather stay here than go anywhere else but the offer has got to be right here.”

The Irishman was supposed to have penned an extension to his contract with the Robins back in September only for financial issues around the club to see that possibility retracted.

A number of League One clubs have also been alerted to his potential availability.

Meanwhile, the club has announced that season tickets for the 2013/14 Season will remain on sale at phase two prices until the start of the new campaign in August.

Fans wishing to pay by instalments are able to take advantage of the nine-month instalment plan up until Friday, May 31.

Thereafter, a six-month instalment plan will be available with the same administration fee until the start of the season.
