SEASON ticket sales for Swindon Town’s 2013/14 League One campaign are approaching 5,000 according to general manager Steve Murrall.

The Robins’ general manager has revealed a 10 per cent improvement in sales compared to this time last year as Town fans snap up their places at the County Ground for the upcoming term.

Murrall was delighted by the figures and stressed that the facilities within the ground are being upgraded over the summer to satisfy supporters who have shelled out their hard-earned cash to back the team.

“We’re really pleased to have sold 5,000, which is up 10 per cent on this time last year, and obviously we’re really looking forward to welcoming all season ticket holders - old and new - to the County Ground next season,” he told the Advertiser.

“At the moment all the staff here are working very hard behind the scenes to improve the facilities for the use of all the fans.”

Season tickets will remain on sale at phase two prices until the start of the new campaign in August.

That means fans can purchase an adult’s seat in the Don Rogers Stand for £390 up front or £425 spread over six monthly instalments, while an adult in the Town End will pay £360 up front or £395 over six monthly instalments.

Concession, young adult and junior tickets are also available, as well as a variety of family pack options.
