FAIRFORD Town host Swindon Town's development XI at Cinder Lane tonight.

Fairford boss Paul Braithwaite is looking forward to a competitive evening as the Robins' young side head for Gloucestershire.

He said: "We will be using a different group of players from the Ascot game, to ensure we have a good look at the majority of players available.

"Callum Parsons and Dan Bailey will both miss the game but those aside, we have plenty to select from having had 50 different players take part in pre-season training at one stage or another.

"We are really looking forward to facing Swindon. It will be a hard test against a fit, young side. They will want to move the ball around quickly.

"From our perspective, it's about working hard all over the pitch and to make sure we play football on the floor from back to front when we have possession."

Kick-off is 7.30pm at Cinder Lane with free entry for all.
