SWINDON Town and Paolo Di Canio will no longer contest an employment tribunal on Friday after reaching a settlement out of court.

The former Robins boss, who quit in February citing "broken promises" at the club, had been due in front of a panel in Bristol.

A statement released by Swindon this afternoon read: "Swindon Town FC can confirm that a satisfactory agreement has been reached with Paolo Di Canio’s representatives in relation to his claim against the club.

"Swindon Town FC are now happy to be able to concentrate on more positive matters moving forward."
