George Groves has written to the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC) to request his world super-middleweight fight against Carl Froch last year be deemed a no contest.
Groves, who is trained by Swindon's Paddy Fitzpatrick, had his fight with Froch back in November stopped controversially by referee Howard Foster.
And after successfully taking his case to the International Boxing Federation (IBF) in America to install him as the mandatory challenger to Froch, Groves has now moved to get the contest wiped out.
Groves, who splits his training between Swindon and London, confirmed he had written to the boxing board via his twitter account on Tuesday.
