PREDICTIONS LEAGUE: Port Vale v Swindon Town

Has our away form finally changed? That is 2 draws on the bounce away from the CG, coming from behind both times. A dogged 1-1 draw at Walsall and a thoroughly deserved 2-2 at London “cabbage patch” Road in the JPT Area Final 1st leg.

We travel to Vale Park at the weekend, where, back at the beginning of November, in the reverse fixture, Town ran out 5-2 winners. Three up within the hour and it all looked good. Vale had other ideas and managed to bring it back to 3-2 as we took the foot off the gas. It was a wake-up call for the lads and we managed to close out the game with 2 goals in the last 8 minutes.

Vale are in 9th place, just 2 points behind the Town. Swindon must not lose this match, another draw would be great. All three points would be fantastic as it would hopefully show that our away form may just have turned the corner. And rekindle any hopes that some fans have of us reaching the play-offs.For that to happen, we must improve our away results and hope that other results go in our favour.

Put in the effort, determination and spirit shown on Wednesday and we shall see what the boys can achieve. Put in a performance similar to the last home game and we will get exactly what we deserve.

Come on Swindon, your fans expect.

D) 45+ 2, 90+ 5
E) Do we want these separately or as a single total?
Given that games might be called off at the last minute & so less games, I would reduce my forecast. But then, pitches will be bad & mistakes occur more often, so would increase my prediction.

The trouble with accepting predictions after the deadline and once the team sheet is announced there are great advantages!

Score you would think is possible, but if you know the squad with Ranger and Smith up front then you can predict a higher STFC score.

Attendance- if you are at the game you can get a feel for how many fans are there.

Town first goal scorer - You have an advantage of predicting a player who is chosen for the first team, Rangef might not be first choice as it depends on what sort of week he has had! Time yes you can have that one!

Corners - the advantage here is after the squad is announced you know the formation and wether it is a defensive or attacking formation, so the likelyhood of more or less corners!

Sub - Looking at the nominated bench you have a better idea if who will be the likely players to come on and change the formation of the side! And what time!

Away fans - As before if you are there!

Fouls - again looking at the nominated teams, you have a clear advantage of players who pick up fouls and cards easily such as Kasim and Pritchard usually booked for putting their boots on!

Changes - Obvious!

Ok the last 2 questions you have no advantage!

Rebel, maybe a future bonus question could be how many minutes after the deadline will Louis post his prediction?
