HELLENIC LEAGUE: Worthians search for big win to leap above Highmoor

Swindon Advertiser: John Fisher John Fisher

JOHN Fisher’s Highworth Town will look to follow-up their victory over Cheltenham Saracens on Saturday with another three points at Bracknell Town. tonight A win by three goals or more would take the Worthians above Highmoor Ibis into fourth place in the Hellenic Premier Division.

That result would certainly make the clash between Fisher’s side and Highmoor on Saturday more interesting.

Bracknell haven’t played since March 22. It will be a case of whether the hosts’ break has left them refreshed or out of practice as Highworth will be trying to maintain their momentum.

Highworth are on a good run and are unbeaten in five, including four wins, and beat Bracknell at The Elms back in November.

Bracknell are in good form themselves, having won their last three at home.

Elsewhere in the division, Sam Collier’s Shrivenham host Abingdon United while, in Division One West, Fairford Town make the trip to North Leigh looking to build on their extraordinary 4-4 draw with Shortwood United reserves at the weekend.

Ahead of the game, Fairford have signed Swindon Town under 18 goalkeeper Aaron Moody on a work experience loan deal as cover for Ben Mitchell.
