SWINDON’S Grant Turner will go for glory tonight in the 100 metre freestyle at the British Swimming Championships in Glasgow.
The former Swindon Tigershark qualified from the semi-finals with the sixth fastest time of 50.19 seconds last night.
The Lougborough University student will hoping that he can go even faster when the evening session kicks off at 6pm as he bids for a place in England’s Commonwealth Games squad this summer.
Meanwhile, Corsham’s Craig Harris finished in sixth place in the S14 200m freestyle in Glasgow in a time of 2:09.81.
